Hi everyone Has anybody used a router bit collet extension yet? I think it sounds like a good idea but worry about it comming loose during operation of the router. I have a ridgid router but with this MCLS extension I can change bits without removing the router and gain more above the table height too. Any thoughts please? Jim K.

Hi I have a new rigid router 2 1/4 hp. I noticed the base has a flat side but the clear plastic sub base does not have a flat spot to match, Will I affect the performance if I sand the sub base to match the base? This is my first router. What would the correct speed for 3/4 pine? Jim K.

Hello out there. New to woodworking. my first project is a birdhouse. Mine is going to have a sliding floor so it can be cleaned out easier.
