I always loved working with wood, be it with the tablesaw, lathe or just a portable jigsaw in my hand. First project I remember was a gun rack at the age of about 9. I know I was getting my first 22 rifle for christmas, so I made a gun rack that held 2 guns. I got in trouble with the 22 at the age of 11 and never got the second gun to put in the rack. Many projects followed for years including remodel a 1877 farm house, built a log home, several Kitchen cabinet jobs. Now that I am retired, I try to spend more time in the shop.
