So, it has been some time now since my last posting to LJ. I enjoy the site very much and when my friend, Charlie was visiting our home this past weekend and mentioned his favorite site was now Lumberjocks, I decided, it is time to make a posting and get back in touch with the LJ community.

So since my last posting several months ago, my wife and I have built an outdoor kitchen on our back deck, we have completed the rest of the 80+ feet of 10ft. wide porch across the back of our home in Cypress, Tx. We have also built an additional 20 ft. of deck under a portion of the porch. Now we have a continuous run of approx. 60 ft. of deck across the back of our home. I also finished a texas style cedar ice chest, a coffee table, and a few other small projects. I will post pictures in the near future.

Next on the project list is a total remodel of the upstairs master bedroom/suite. We officially start the remodel this Friday, Oct. 22. We start by knocking out the non-support wall between the current master bedroom and the spare bedroom.
I will share our design and “before” pictures soon.

And…I still agree with many of the other forum members.. Lumberjocks can be addictive.

Sounds like a lot accomplished. It will be interesting to see pictures of the remodel.
