54 yrs. old. Full time employee as an IT Project Manager. I have loved working since I have been a young man. My grandfather and two uncles were professional carpenters. I guess I learned to love the smell and feel of wood at a young age. I have been facinated about the portable sawmill since I first saw one demonstrated at the Indiana State Fair in 1992. As I move closer to retirement, I believe I want to put my hand to this and see where it leads me.

Jimmy, there is a portable mill listed on CL, Lafayette, LA. I talked to the guy 2 days ago about the drum sander. it is sold, but he still has the mill for $2500.00
