I'm a 59 year old high school history teacher, who's been woodworking on and off since my 8th grade woods class at Kepner JH in Denver, CO. In my 38 years of teaching I've also taught junior high shop and CAD classes at one time or another. I've recently completed a 20'X20' shop addition to my garage.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I’ve seen this site at the Woodwhisperer but just never got around to checking it out. I’m looking forward to spending some time here. I’m in the design stage for a picture frame that I want to make in the Greene & Greene style.
