I built my 16” 24” workshop 24 years ago in the back corner of our yard and Started collecting tools. I have Built up my collection over the years to the point of having a pretty well equipped and enjoyable Man cave accept when my wife decides she wants to do a project then it becomes The Family shop. My shop has 30”D x 10’L x 40”H with a 4” thick top work bench in the Front Corner and a 30” x 10’ Chop saw bench in the back corner with my chop saw on it. I have a Small room addition off one side of the shop for my wood supply and clamp storage. My Machinery inventory consists of the following. Thickness planer, 6” Jointer, 10” Contractors saw, Band saw, Router table, Drill press, Turning lathe, 12” sander, 36” belt 6” disk sander, Dovetail jigs and Scroll saw.
There are also Many hand tools giving me the flexibility to do almost anything that can be done with wood and some metals since my career before retirement was Designing and building steel products using a large variety of metal working machinery.

Welcome to Lumberjocks, Jim. It sound like you have a really nice set up. Whenever you get time we’d love to see some pictures. In the mean time you can enjoy the site.
