This box I made for my son for a birthday gift. He has it now and was pretty thrilled with it. Now the shop is a disaster area as I have it torn apart to build a storage unit in one corner.
The box was a fun build, and I really needed the practice. My meagre skills have waned. Over the last year I have not done any woodworking, concentrating instead on getting the shop built. This is the first project to come out of it. This turned out to be a long video so I split it into 2 parts. I am still working on my video making skills too. I have been inspired by many people who put out creative content on You Tube, and would like to show folks that it can be done without much investment. I use a Canon S-100 point and shoot camera that was a gift, but similar units can be picked up used for about $40. That, and a tripod is the only thing I use.
I shoot in standard mode for a few reasons. First, my internet connection speed. Smaller files upload faster. Second, battery life, and lastly, memory space on the card in the camera. I do some minor editing and stitch the clips together using Windows Movie Maker, which came on the computer. So get out there and shoot some video of something you love doing and share it! You can do it too!
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the build and, as a guy who is just starting out with this, encourage you to give it a “thumbs up” or a “like” or “share” it with others. Subscriptions are always needed. Comments are also welcome too. I am trying to keep it family friendly, so appropriate language is in order.
Also, I have not monitized any of my content, I would like to keep it free. No ads, no sponsorship, no distractions. I am not that good with computers to know how to set it up anyway…lol.
Thank you for your consideration.
