Location: Bozeman, Montana

Busy wife to a wonderful husband. Busy mom to a super fun 3 year old (update: omg, he is FIVE now! And, in kindergarten! Eeeek!!).

Amateur woodworker. Woodworking has been a total passion for the past five years, ever since I built a few raised beds for my garden. Turns out, I liked building the beds more than I liked working in them.

My first tool was a jig saw, then moved on to a random orbital sander. After that, it got a little crazy :) Now, my shop includes:

* Powermatic 64A Tablesaw
* Shop Fox W1669 Radial Head Drill Press (this thing is AMAZING)
* Shop Fox W1706 Bandsaw
* Delta 14-651 Mortiser
* Dewalt DW734 12 1/2" Planer
* Delta JT-360 Jointer
* Ryobi 2HP Plunge Router (dislike this)
* Makita ROS
* Dewalt DWP611 Router (fixed base, like this more)
* And, a growing collection of hand tools, including my prized Veritas #4 smooth plane and the Veritas 5 1/4 bench plane

I've really enjoyed getting to chat with many of you here! I have also had the genuine pleasure of hanging out with a fellow lumberjock who lives in the same small(ish) town that I do (JCwalleye - aka, Joe). He is a phenomenal woodworker, be sure to check out his projects on lumberjocks!!

Looking forward to continuing my informal education by following you all here!

Great picture of your family!
