I've been fooling around with woodworking most of my life. I got the nack from my father. I enjoy making furniture. I have an engineering background, so I always plan my projects pretty thoroughly including complete CAD drawings, cut lists and material lists. I don't build for profit. Maybe I will try that once I retire from my real job. I have my own business manufacturing and installing fabric and metal awnings and canopies (www.awntek.com) so I have a complete metal fabrication shop at my disposal. Recently I was able to build my dream shop in the back yard. I look forward to spending time there whenever I can.
