Picture forthcoming…
My shop is in my garage, poorly lit and heated, so it’s really a 3-season daylight gig. Mostly, it’s full of hand/portable power tools, and dreams of bigger tools. I’ve got a few benches (inherited from the previous owner of my house), and a cabinet reclaimed from our kitchen which will become a router table.
Many of my current power tools are Craftsman (until recently, we had family working at Sears, and the discounts couldn’t be denied). Now, I’m looking to get my larger pieces from other manufacturers… Also, many of my tools are hand-me-downs from my father, who had a long-running career in construction and remodeling and didn’t have much in the way of finishing tools, but more of the rough and demo type (hence no nice jointer/planer combo to inherit…LOL).
Short tool list:
-PC 690 router
-Craftsman 10” Contractor table saw
-Craftsman 9” Bandsaw (on loan…and very glad I didn’t spend money on this doorstop!)
-Craftsman 1” belt X 6” disc sander combo (also on loan…not as lousy as the bandsaw, and actually did some good in making my adirondack chair, but really proved that I need a better power sanding system)
-Craftsman air compressor (large—I’ll get specs soon)
-Bostitch brad nailer
-Dewalt jig saw
-Craftsman circular saw
-Craftsman reciprocating saw
-Makita power drill
-Craftsman 9.7v cordless drill (in-house and light duty)
More to come!

Great start. Good luck on starting to make some projects.
But without pictures of your shop. It really doesn’t exist. Sorry. LOL

Hi Damocles,
Your shop description sounds interesting. I would enjoy seeing pictures of it. I find video tours of other shops to be a really enjoyable aspect of this site.
