Location: Spokane, WA
Website:

Live in Spokane, WA. I am a nurse...or murse as they call me on the unit. I have two helpers age 6 and 9. We use mostly hand tools right now. Waiting a couple more years until they start using power. I don't have many new tools, most of them are from garage sales or craigslist. Part of the fun is getting old beat up tools running again with a little instruction from Youtube.
I like remodeling mostly and that started my love affair with tools and the smell of lumber. I give most of my work away as a way of saying thank you to the people I love. I love Lumberjocks because it inspires me to be creative, there are some incredible artists on this site.

Thanks SnowyRiver. I have almost no experience in woodworking but I find the site so inspiring. I didn’t even take shop in high school. I do love tools though. I have been working on my 1930’s house putting in some alder chair rail with maple bead board, it has been a blast!

Welcome Jason. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.
