I’ve been watching craigslist for a Performax 16-32 drum sander for what seems like forever. Yesterday I scored one for $250. Woot!

I agree with Steve. I got one a few months ago. I have to be patient and let it work at it’s best pace. I had to get some kind of dust collection and buy more rolls of paper, but it has saved a lot of time and has saved the frustration of ‘planer snipe’. I can sand it out now. On the down side, my cutting boards can turn out too thin if I am not careful. The depth adjustment is not easy to calculate.
Enjoy it! Robert
