I’m a nearly 40 year old manager at a major software company and a father of 4 children from the ages of 2 – 11 so shop time is a bit limited these days but I try to make some sawdust whenever I can. My dad is a carpenter and hobbyist wood worker so I started playing in his shop and distracting him pretty young. Although I’ve been woodworking off and on for over 30 years I would consider myself an amateur looking for more ambitious projects.
Several years ago I built our current house (acted as the general and did some of the work) so my shop has seen more douglas-fir than exotics for the last few years but I’m getting the shop back to gather and hoping to change that now.
