My name is Josh and I am from and live in Lubbock, TX. I am a 27 yr old Texas Tech Alumni with a wife and 2 kids. For the past year I have been getting one half of my garage converted into a woodworking shop and the other half holding my Kayak Fishing kayak. Currently I have been doing alot of research on what to buy and making sure I don't make buying mistakes by buying cheaper tools just to get me going. I have a family friend who lives in Santa Fe, Peter Kovatis, who has inspired me to become a woodworking hobbiest. I watch New Yankee Woodshop every week and have become obsessed with making Charles Schawrtz's French WorkBench. I would like to make craftman furniture aloong with learning the old school type woodworking. I am hoping to find some great mentors and friends to help with my wood working life style. It's great to be apart of a community and I hope to have a site full of my work in the years to come.
