This picture essay of the Hull-Oakes steam-powered sawmill operation located about fifteen miles south of Corvallis, OR was sent to me by a friend. I found it very interesting and thought others may be interested too. I know it requires going to another site but I’m reasonably certain that it’s a safe site.

Interesting tour! GP/LP had a steam mill in Covelo, CA in the 90’s. What a sauna in the summertime.
