Bought a new mini lathe a few weeks ago. Tried turning a long long time ago in high school, and have been wanting to try again for a long time.

I’m going to attempt a complete chess set. I have a lot to learn, but feel up to the challenge.

Comments and especially suggestions from other turners are indeed welcome!

Nice work, the pawn came out great. There’s no advise I could give, being a novice turner myself, and I really like that pipe trick to make round balls. Thanks for showing.
