Australian Timber Oil on a box? - 2 replies I have some Timber oil in Mahogany Flame I was going to use on a small box of walnut and maple. While surfing the net looking for finishing tips I saw the MFG website said it wasn’t intended for interior surfaces! Does anyone know why not? If there no real issue to using it – what finish tips do you know of? |

Jatoba color question - 6 replies Anyone know how long it takes for Jatoba to regain its color after sanding? I’ve seen some darkening after leaving pcs in the sun a few days but nowhere near the unsanded color. Info on making sails out of wood - 20 replies Been searching the net on how to make wood sails for a model sailboat. Not the mast but the normally cloth sail portion. Just a standard sail shape but contured as if it is full of wind. Anyone have information on doing this? My bandsaw is only a 10” so trying to shape it on that would be an issue.
