My primary shop was a mere 14X20, with a 8X12 annex for my Dust collection, Air Compressor, and equipment overflow. I also have a 8X14 out building dedicated to lumber storage.
Though my shop is a miniature version of my 30 X 45 dream shop it is fairly well equipped for the shops size. The workhorse is a my new SawStop Pro Table Saw with a 36” extension , it is complimented by a A Delta X5 14” Bandsaw with a 6 inch riser, Delta X5 16/32 drum sander, Dewalt 12” Compound sliding miter saw with a 13” crosscut, Rigid 13” Planer, Jet 12”X 36” lathe, Jet mini lathe, Powermatic 6” joiner, Delta air filtration, Dewalt tool actuated HEPA dust extractor/vacuum. Shop made Dual router table with Jessum fence and risers. HF 2hp dust collection with turbine booster and upgraded filter and cyclone. Huskey 30 gal Air Compressor. Additionally equipped with a benchtop 24” drill press, Rikon 6×48 +8 belt/disc sander, Rigis Edge/Spindle sander, Dewalt 20’ scroll saw, and at last count over 200 clamps of every shape and size. I also have a 32”X40” granite top assembly table. Now all it needs is a CNC. Still putting my pennies away for that. My shop is currently not specialized as I do a large variety of woodworking.
