Jay, I am enjoying your videos. I need to do something similar with my HF DC.

As I watched this video a couple of ideas came to mind. I thought I would share them:

1. Add a couple of drawer handles to the top. That way you have something to lift up on to insert the spacer.

2. Add a half circle to the base to help position the can.

Ha! Great minds think alike! I already added the handles and was debating a can positioner! I still have to edit and render the rest of the videos and my hoses should be here tomorrow. Because I’m working on an ancient computer it takes FOREVER to render. Hopefully I can keep up with the 1 video per day pace for this series. The handles will be shown in video 6 or possibly 7 If needed. Thanks for watching!

If only I worked as quickly as you & others on this site! It seems to take me a week & a year to complete even the smallest of projects!!! With that said, wanna come to my shop & build a Thein Top Hat pre-seperator??? Lol.

As always, sittin’ on the edge of my seat, awaiting your next installment! Keep up the good work!!!

Your doing great both on the build and the video series. Good job.

For hose I don’t like the habor freight hose KIT they sell in the store. Instead go online to HF and
look at there clear hose, about 20$ for 10 ft. Read the revews it’s good stuf. I have used two
sectons for more then 2 years. This is one of HF gems. Great video.

Yup, 2 handles, and, I’d mount hinges on those 2-2-bys
