I'm very new to woodworking and am enjoying it as I learn. I am teaching myself how to do things and so always have an ear open for good advice on how to better do things. I enjoy doing boxes the most, looking at other people's projects "thinking how the hell did they do that?" then trying it with my own twist.
I'm an IT computer nerd by trait. Right now I'm lucky enough to be at home with my 2 baby girls (one is 2yrs old the other 3 months old) as stay at home dad. My wife is ready to switch with me. So for at least the next year I'm staying home with them while she works, which means when I have a break (and the warm weather) I sneak off to the shop and work.
And on last thing.... This family is die hard KU Jayhawks fans!! Rock Chalk Jayhawk
Thank you

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
