An old grainery reborn. Air conditioned and heated, plus a very nice rocking chair…..for planning projects!! This building was built in 1936 with help from a WPA work crew looking for some extra money. At that time, the total cost was $600.

Now this is a shop that looks like any of us would enjoy working in. It has plenty of room and, with heating and air, you can stay comfortable all year round. And who wouldn’t enjoy the luxury of having a rocking chair in their shop to peruse the latest issue of Wood or Fine Woodworking. It beats sitting in front of the television any day. :)

Thanks for the pictures, Jeff. I enjoyed taking a look at your shop.

And let me welcome you to LJs as well. It is good to have you on board as a member of the group.

Thanks for the great comments everyone. 22 X 16 are the dimensions, it has a second story, well maybe a 1/2 story, but I closed it off so I could insulate it better.

Jeff, that shop building is beautiful. You really have a nice shop and welcome to Lumberjocks.
