I am a late starter as far as woodworking goes, in my late 50s, but once I got a taste of it I was hooked. I remember my Dad always working on wood projects down in his workshop and decided to give it a try myself. What a great hobby, very satisfying. One of my first jobs was to create a workshop out of an old 1930s grainery, which I did with some help from my son, I should say, a lot of help from my son and grandson, it turned out great. Glad to have found LumberJocks, my wife actually found it for me, I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say and also to contribute as time goes on.

Welcome Jeff. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.
“a workshop out of an old 1930s grainery”. You have got to show us some photo’s of your workshop!
