Here’s new words for an old tune that family tolerates me singing to them when we host.

sung to God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman~

Oh…lay down all your burden..all ye who inter here
Tonight we have a gathering to sing of Christmas cheer
So empty all your heavy hearts and fill them up with glee
And know you are loved and family….family
And know you are loved and family
The time has come for hearts to share this lovely Christmas Eve
A joyous smile, a big warm hug and lots of sweet candy
To pig out on this food we serve the feast before your eyes
And listen for that child we have inside….deep inside
And listen for that child deep inside.
