I am a very new woodworker. In fact if you looked in my toolbag the only woodworking tool you would see today would be a flush cut saw (and a cheap one at that). I’ve been fortunate enough to have a brother who is also a woodworker so I’ve had a chance to work in his shop and build a few things. I’m especially proud of my tv stand and fireplace. Part 2: Baby Steps Pt 2

So it was a no go on the table saw. It didn’t look too bad in the pictures but was really bad in person. When the seller tried to drop the price to twenty I remembered the saying that it never pays to buy someone else’s problems, no matter how low the price so I walked away. Gotta keep scouring the used tool pages till a good saw comes up. I’ve got time though, so I can afford to be picky.

Part 3: Nothing happening

So, jobs are hard to come by these days and so life has been on hold. No job means no new house and no new house means no shop, and no shop means no woodworking. But that’s ok, patience is a virtue.
