Restored Handplanes
I purchased a couple used handplanes at a local garage sale. Both planes, a #5 and a #4, were purchased for $20 each. They were quite rusted and in pretty bad shaped. I used a belt sander to do a rough cleanup of all the parts. I then used my ...

Great to see your pic of the wine rack you built. I am a new woodworker and I hope in the future my racks can be of a high standard as yours. Good Job!

Welcome to LumberJocks!
I like the wine rack!
This is an awesome group of woodworkers that generously share their talents, passion and interest in woodworking. We are looking forward to your projects and input.
Not to hit you up with this too early, but please notify Tom of any tools you are willing to share with your fellow LumberJocks!
By the way, don’t worry too much about the Lumebrjock Shop Inspection. While it seems intimidating the day they visit, Douglas and Ms Debbie are pretty kind!
LumberJocks is the premier member based woodworking site.

Just checked out all your projects so far and they are all real nice. I’d like to make some clocks for next Christmas, very cool.

I long for the possibility of working in wood on a more than part-time basis. I too am in IT, but I own my business. I don’t know if it makes it harder or not. I wish you luck in making the transition.

Nice work. I left a Production Control position with Magna International to make shavings for a living. I understand your desire to do it for a living. No name KD isn’t as bad as you think- just add grade D ground beef…
You do beautiful work, if I had learned what you have per annum, I’d be on top of the world.
Nice Retriever too. Just a pup?

Oh yeah-
Anyone who refers to themselves as a master, probably isn’t.
Just my two cents.
