Hey there! I am a full time Indianapolis firefighter that likes to work the wood on the side as a hobby, with dreams of getting good enough to make a little extra money in the future (mostly to expand my tool box with more toy..er..tools). I also write an online blog that details the craziness that is my life at times.

As a single, full time father and lover of women, I don't get a lot of time for this hobby (or anything else for that matter). I mean one minute my life is like a story plucked straight from the pages of a Tucker Max book- with partying, excessive drinking, lots of fun and laughs, and gratuitous, full-frontal nudity (unfortunately, it's almost always male). Then the next minute I am helping my 6 year old daughter dress her "princess unicorn" in Barbie clothes (yes, I know its actually a horse and not a unicorn, but I can't crush her dreams by telling her the truth). While at the same time my 5 year old son is beating the ever living s*#$ out of me with his Nerf sword, because he is pretending that I am a zombie that is out to burn the world.

So I guess you could say, I am all about balancing conflicting ideologies, along with trying to find a minute or two to practice my hobby, along with work on my "accidentally bought" HUD home.
