I am an amateur woodworker looking to better my skills. I've built a sailboat (Puddle Duck Racer), and am putting the finishing touches on my solar cooker. My biggest interest right now is building my own woodworking machines.. don't ask me why. I have the Gilliom Gil-Bilt plans for a table saw, band saw and am currently looking for ideas on a good workbench and miter saw station. I also love the idea of a walking-beam saw published in Fine-Woodworking 'Making and Modifying Machines' as well as the bicycle freewheel treadle lathe in that issue. Can't wait to see all the great projects and tips on Lumberjocks!
