My dad was my high school shop teacher so I’ve been around woodworking all my life. Over the years I’ve piddled here and there with it but in 2002 my wife and I built a 22×40 foot addition to our house for my workshop. It’s heated and air conditioned and the first thing I installed was the Oneida dust collection system. I have a fairly complete selection of tools and as usual, I’ve run out of room. lol..
I’ve built furniture, turned pens and bowls, and built all the cabinets for the kitchen and three bathrooms when my daughter and her husband built their new home a few years ago. I work almost exclusively for my own pleasure and have made many gifts.
My latest interest is in building tools. I’ve completed the Screw Advance Box Joint Jig and 3D Pantograph and am currently working on the Pantorouter – all from woodgears.ca.
