I’m kicking around the idea of building a dedicated 12” disc sander. I’ve searched here, ebay, and Shopsmith’s site and cannot find the arbor hold diameter on the Shopsmith sanding disc. Does anyone know the size?

Can I start a finish over oak and pine with regular poly to get the tinted look, then apply multible coats of water based poly for the fast re-coat times?
