Here in Holland we have 2 Christmasday's on the 25th and the 26th….
Don't ask me why because I don't know.
We also have 2 Easterday's and 2 Whitsunday's
So my question is…...Where in the world do they have that too…
and do you know why?
Wow- that's really incredible. I imagine it has more to do with socialist norms for reduced work days rather than observance of the actual holiday. Here in US- we work and work.. and then we go to work.. and then go to work. Unless of course the holiday falls on Friday- then we get to take off Saturday and Sunday. LOL
Two days in Norway, but it seems to me that we celebrate it for weeks on end.
