Hi, I'm a woodworkster from Holland.
When I was young I already made all kind of things of wood.
My love for wood is still big. Now I like to make things of reclamed wood and other meterials I can get or find.
I work as a teacher on a school for teenagers with learning problems.
The lessons I give are general technics. What means that they learn in the first and second grade the basics skills for working with wood and metal. n the 3th grade the choose the final direction. In the 3th grade they learn skills how to work on projects and with machines like a planer, tablesaw, bandsaw, skillsaw, beltsander, router etc.We also make projects in order for somebody.

I make the most project out of pallet wood or wood I get from a floorspecialist.
When you use reclamed wood you can see how you can make beautifull things out of useless meterial. Sometimes there's a lot of beautifull wood on these pallets.
Hope you injoy the projects

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hi, thanks for adding me as your buddy! I hope we can see each others projects from now on, exchange ideas, comments and so on. Holland is one of the countries I always wanted to visit, so it’s great to see some views from your photos too!

Houtje, I think all your projects are great. I also use almost exclusively reclaimed materials in the things I create so your projects and ideas are extra special to me. A bee hotel; how cool is that?

If you come up with an idea of what to use a bunch of old demolished pianos for, let me know. My garage is overflowing with all the bits & pieces.

This is a great site, good to see your work here. Saving wood from the waste pile is an art in itself. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Came across your projects made almost exclusively reclaimed materials that you have turned into beautiful and useful items. Gained a lot of ideas from your site, thanks for sharing.
