The suspended outfeed table
There are some fabulous examples of outfeed tables on this site and others. Most of them rely on legs or wheels for support. My problem is that my garage floor is VERY uneven. Since I move my saw around a lot, I would have to spend a lot of time leveling it to compensate. I wanted to come up with something that I wouldn’t have to keep adjusting. I decided to create one that is suspended from the rail of the fence support. Here is the saw before starting. I created some supports from 2 pieces of 1/2 inch plywood. I glued them together and used the band saw to cut the notches. I used 2 – 1 inch rare earth magnets on each one. These hold the supports tightly against the saw base...
