Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I must say I am truly surprised at the number of you that took the time to welcome me to LJ’s. I guess I should tell you a little about myself. My name is Heyward, and I am a 33yr old male living in Sarasota Florida. I have been involved in woodoworking most of my life and I work out of my garage which serves as my shop. I just moved into a new house so Im still trying to get set back up. Most of my projects are furniture, although being a huge baseball fan and living in the middle of the spring training state for most of the MLB, I Have been known to turn a bat or two for the big guys to autograph!
I hope to post a project I have been working on soon. Please feel free to voice your true opinion on my projects, as I value honest input. I truly value learning and if someone has a better way to do something, by all means dont keep it to yourself! Don’t worry about hurting my feelings, trust me I can take it! lol
And for those of you wondering, Yes I do bleed Hitachi Green. :)

Welcome to LJ’s Hitachi. Being a fellow Florida Garage Wood worker I recommend you take full advantage of the ‘good days’. Fall, Winter and Spring are usually cool enough, but unless you air condition your shop, forget working there during our summer months.

As for MLB, who is your favorite team and do they base their Spring Training in Sarasotta?
