I am now 3/12/10 in the process of moving and hope to have my work shop up and running 6/30/10. It has been in storage or unavailable for 8+ years as my wife and I were running a printing business. The economy ended that and now with a move we hope to be able to sit back and enjoy life, a lot poorer in money but wiser in life. Thanks to my grandmother I am a "glass half full" type person. I used to be a type 'A" person but years have altered that trait, thank goodness.
I look forward to being a project contributor as I am already addicted to the site.
P.S. My grandfather was a master carpenter. That is where I was injected with the sap serum about 55 years ago.
The workshop was moved into a friends almost empty shop in June 2010 and is now being arranged to be able to work in it. The hot summer put a drag on getting the shop in order. However, it is ready now, Sept 2010.
Here is to making sawdust oh and projects too. First project is going to be abandsaw box for my grand daughter to be "The tooth fairy box"
Another change happened when we moved in a senior citizen home. Luckily it was brand new and had 55 apartments. Most older than me and all older than my wife Sandy (me 69 Sandy 62)
I have started a little wood craft shop. Our first project is to build hand held race cars for a local charity for kids. We built 27 of them with a goal of 75.
The spring project will be to build birdhouses for our complex.

Spent a lot of time in your neck of the woods for the last 30 years, beautiful area.
Its a shame Annapolis Lumber went of business a few years ago. From what I heared they supplied the likes of Trumpy and other boat builders for 100+ years and when they went out, they had lumber that was tucked away in some of the corners that was incredable. The area around Arnold has a few old boat yards that could yeild space, tools, and interesting finds. Might find some interesting lumber to reclaim in your area as well.
