My workshop is in the basement. It has grown over the years so that now it takes up most of the space in
the basement. I recently got the Sawstop 1.75 hp. Professional Table Saw and have been very happy with it so far. I just finished the outfeed support table for it, which works great. I also just added the Harbor Frieght 2 hp. dust collector and a seperator after reading the good reviews on this site.

Hey Hewy,
Now that is one real cool fitted out workshop, and lots of great toys to play with….sweet drum sander.

Hewy, this looks like a pretty nice shop to me. You have managed to add quite a bit of storage to your shop with the shelving and you look like you have plenty of room in your shop. You also have put together a good looking collection of tools. I am sure you enjoy working in there as I know I would.

Thanks for the tour. I had fun visiting your shop.

The Harbor Freight 2 hp. dust collector works very well. It has plenty of suction. I think this is a very good dust collector for the money.

Hewy,

Great setup!

Take a look at my writeup / review of the HF 2HP DC. That is the best bang for your buck for sure. But I strongly suggest changing that 5 micron filter bag out for a 1 micron or better bag, or better yet a cartridge filter… They are cheap enough… Even with upgrading the bag, you are still plenty of money ahead of competing units!

Thanks for the comments. One of the thiings I plan to do in the future is add a Wynn cartridge
filter to my dust collector. I have read your review and others, which rated the Hf 2HP DC as a
very good dust collector, this is why I decided to buy one.

Thanks again
