I have collected allot of hand saws from auctions and flea markets and they have been accumulating in various places in the shop. Some have been restored, some are waiting to be restored, some are just useful for parts or stock for scrapers, etc...

I've been interested in woodworking for over 20 years. Most of that time has been devoted to buying, making, and restoring tools, with misc. projects hear and there. I am interested in everything so I jump around and focus on one aspect for a while and then another. I call myself a jack of all trades, master of none. I've always leaned towards hand work, even tried my hand at felling trees with an axe, and riving out boards. This is not something I recommend doing on a regular basis, unless you really want a workout, but it’s a great experience if you have the time and energy.
I'm building up my various skills (carving, turning, joinery, etc...) in the hopes of combining them into the furniture I plan to make for my house.
I love old tools and hit the local auctions and flea markets often. Probably half my tools were purchased on the cheep this way. It requires a great deal of time and effort to find and restore these gems, but I enjoy it.
I'll start getting some pictures and project info posted as time permits.
