I have always thought about getting into woodworking. I never had the room to have a workshop but always thought that one day I would like to. Well I've managed to set up an area in my basement for a workshop.
I've put together a workbench using 2 x 4 basics workbench kit. I have purchased a router and I am going to start with a simple router table for my first project. I was also given a band saw and had a circular saw.
I am a computer programmer by profession so working with my hands and tools are not in my everyday skillset. But I am pretty good at following written instructions and actually enjoy assembling kits of things purchased at the store.
