Updated 1/15/12 We now have our box assembled and glued up. Depending on the temperature, let it dry for a couple of hours, or overnight to be safe.Take the tape off and clean up any dried glue. This is a good time to smooth up the bottom to get rid of any rocking.You can double stick sandpaper onto a very flat and firm surface and slide the bottom across that. I have been working on a pair of nightstands for a while now and I’ve been trying to sort out what stain to use on them. They are quartersawn white oak and reproduction Stickleys so I wanted a nice older look. Building the Shop #19: Ridgid R4512 Zero Clearance Insert

I decided to try my DW618 out tonight and made a ZERO clearance insert for my Ridgid 4512 out of MDF, kind of just playing but it came out pretty well so I finished it. I’m SCARED to cut through with it, for some reason I think it’s going to come up and hit me because it’s not a 100% secure engineered fit. Give me some feedback, will I be fine??
