Hanman

I live in an extremely rural area in western Nebraska. I was born and raised here and grew up on a ranch. I've been interested in woodworking literally as long as i can remember and got really hooked when my parents let me commandeer an 8' x 10' shed as a child and turn it into my 1st workshop. I've since upgraded 1st to my 16 x 30 garage, and now a 25' x 60' building. I also own/operate a half-assed construction company and the nearest lumberyard is 40 miles away so unfortunately my workshop is more often than not overrun with building materials. I love my job. If nothing else it gives me an excuse to buy power tools and then the ability to write them off as a business expense! lol I love creating things. I'm not a terribly religious person but I do feel like I'm doing what I was put here to do. Something about taking a pile of lumber and creating something from it that people can enjoy gives me tremendous satisfaction. I've built everything from small hand carvings to a new 4,000 + sq. ft. home and everything in between. I have a special interest in making furniture from barnwood and other re-cycled woods and honestly if I could figure out how to make money at it, this is what I would do for a living. I have 3 boys ages 8, 4, and 3, and they are pretty much my life. Not sure what I'll do when they grow up and start lives of their own.
