Making a Shelf

I’m going to make a shelf for my wood shop final. I did not start it yet,but i am looking for some ideas for some nice router bits to use. does anyone have any ideas?

One router bit that is very popular in building a shelf is the ‘round over bit’ to bull nose the shelf edge or an ogee bit.
A lot depends on the kind of shelf you are going to build, and what it is going to be used for.
If you want to display your mom’s plate collection, use a round nose bit for the plate groove.

Maybe a keyhole bit if you are making a knick knack or curio shelf to hang it ...
