Life Struggles

Hello Everyone.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I’m sorry for not being around. There has been a lot going on for awhile now. Some of it has been the projects. Not enough money to purchase Lumber to be able to Toy around with some new projects. Some of it has been in the hospital for a week getting my Gallbladder removed. Some of it has been my Old Lady being in the Hospital first with phnumonia and now back in with Cellulitus in her legs. And also the last thing was we were having LOTS of computer problems. We just bought a new computer and it’s running pretty good so far (Knocking on Wood).

I also wanted to mention that I have got now in my Possision from a buddy of mine a Craftsman CarveWright Compucarve (CNC) System. I’m hoping that some of the Scraps that I have laying around, that I tend to keep, will come of some use to me to practice on to get to know this machine.

I would also like to know if anyone else here on lumberjocks happens to have a CNC from Craftsman or even any other Brand name? I’m looking for some Tips or anything related to get me started. I got an email last week from Woodworking Journel Magazine stating that they had a Free Pattern, Which by the way wasn’t geared for Carvewright system,, to Cut a Bowl Jig for the Lathe. I was looking for something like that so i could cut one for my lathe because i don’t have the money for one and I’d like to get to Paying more on my Lathe then Making Dowel Rods LOL
