Yep today started early again! Class started a 9 sharp Hein and his son Shaun ( aged 12) was here first. Shaun brought his pen kits with and I had to show him how to start of.well it was not difficult ,but was my first cigar pen and we turned this out of cape Iron wood,Must say the wood turned well and the finish was great. Sanded to 800 grit and finished it off with Goblins Danish oil – very nice!

Hein worked on his cabinet, he started with the assembly and did well for the day.
Gavin got here couple of minutes after nine and started with his drink cabinet , he had to cut the rebates for his drawers, this is made out of Meranti and Chamfer wood -luv the smell!
Khyanisa is still thicknessing her timber, she is making a project out of meranti which we will stain in mahogony, once it is completed

Rose is taking the afternoon class , she is having four students and as we speak she is busy with them!
They have started their foundation course and is now busy with the second module, still a bit of a road ahead!
