I love woodworking! I am retired from the USAF and used to build a lot of military presentation stuff. After I got out I had to get a real job and dont have as much time as I would like! My interests nowadays are bandsaw boxes and small casework.
I went through a phase of doing fretwork but kind of got burned out on it.
I still love my Dewalt scroll saw though!
Thanks

Thanks HallTree! I am a safety nut! I use the imaginary box around the spinnging blade/cutter princible… no digits go inside that box for any reason EVER while the machine is in operation.
If any folks here are from the Wichita area I would love to know a good source for hardwood!

Welcome to LumberJocks. Glad to have you aboard. †
There are a few Lumberjocks in Witicha abd Mark DeCou about 50 miles north. We’ve had a lumberjock Picnic at Marks a year ago. A great time.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Welcome to LJ, MSgt. Your fretwork looks to be top-notch. I love the career field badges in your shadowboxes. Something I never thought to do… though I don’t know if I’m good enough with the scrollsaw to pull it off as good as you have. I can’t even use my equipment as an excuse. My wife and I bought a Hawk RBI saw 4 years ago.

Thanks for the positive comments! Wonder if someone can help me out? I get an email when someone posts a comment but it says not to reply…. and some comments show up on e-mail but not here. Can you reply to a comment other than by posting it here?
