Location: St. Thomas, Ontario
Website:

I am a Home Inspector living in St. Thomas Ontario, about two hours west of Toronto.
I enjoy fishing, boating and tinkering in my workshop. Eleven years ago I had the opportunity to build my dream woodworking shop. My shop is 18' X30' and built on 18, 18" piers. The floor is 1" thick plywood, 3/8" overtop of 5/8" T & G plywood (due to Home Depot messing up the alluminum roof delivery, the first layer of plywood flooring got rained on and was subsequently covered with 3/8". The shop has a gas fired furnace, hydro, phone and a urnial. There is no running water in the shop, so the urnial flushing water is supplied via an elevated rain barrel, the system drains into the septic bed. Probbably not legal but it works and the shop is pretty secluded at the back of my property.
I enjoy spending time out there and often just go out there to think.

Hello Gripfast,

Let me welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find being a member of this group to be both a rewarding and an inspirational part of your woodworking adventure.

-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

Love to see your shop!

God Bless
