Cordless electric lawn mowers - 6 replies

Has anyone here have a cordless mower? If so what are your experiences with them and what brand do you have? I only intend to be using it for areas that my rider is unable to get to. I’m anal about keeping my grass short so it won’t be used for heavy use. Any advice will be helpful.

Can't believe my lucky day today - 3 replies

Can’t believe how lucky a day can be sometimes. Today I went to see a friend an give him some advice on some home repairs he was doing. When I got there he was cleaning out his garage and off to the side he had started a scrap metal pile to be hauled off this afternoon. I asked him if I could look in his pile to see what I could find. The ...

LOL Anyway I didn’t find a coat, but did come across a pleasant find to make the morning worth while. I picked up this Stanley NO. 5 that needs some TLC for 5 bucks.

Blade Holder for Scroll Saw - 6 replies

Need to replace the blade holder on my Craftsman scroll saw. While it doesn’t classify as an old wood working machine, I’ve refrained from going to OWWM first. I can get most of the parts for the scroll saw from Sears.com except the blade holder. Its model No. is 315.216360 and the part no. is 980119-001. So my question is where do y...

Peach Tree Root - 2 replies

My peach tree died and had to be removed. I cut off the branches and dug around the root to pull the rest of the tree from the ground. I plan to use this for a couple of projects. One of those projects is to clean up the small root ball part of the tree and turn it on the lathe.Since I consider myself a beginner at turning. The question is what ...

I finally got my 60 gal. Air Compressor out of storage and moved into the 10×12 shed that it will be housed in. Flag Button VS. Block Button - 33 replies

Now that we have 2 options to deal with offensive postings, which do you think is the better option. Myself I find the Flag button a better option as it lets the administrators be aware of potential problems occurring in posts. As it would allow administrators to either close a topic or delete an offensive posting. So what are your thoughts and ...
