Welcome. Love the Arts and Crafts too.
Check out Dusty, Max, John Nixon, Tim Pursell, Mark DeCou, and Dan’s work for some great A and C stuff. More hidden gems here to discover.

Welcome to LJs. I am glad to see that you have decided to make this part of your woodworking adventure.

Welcome to LJ. Where in central Illinois are you? I am from the Springfield/Decatur area. My folks are now outside of Effingham.

I am actually Northern part of Central Il. in Streator.
I have heard that central Il is South of I-80. Puts me in central by about 15 miles.
thanks,
Greg

I am from Illiopolis, which claims to be the geographic center of the state (as do others). I found out at SIU that many folks considered Springfield/Decatur to be in “Southern Illinois.” I guess it is all in your perspective.
Nice to meet you. Enjoy your time on LJ
