Ok, got some more shop time and finished the left upper cabinet portion… next dilemma, what to do above the door. Originally, I was going to put another case/shelf, but I’m not so sure now. Wife mentioned possible doing an archway… Any ideas out there?

As you can see, family is putting it to use, even though it isn’t finished.

Still a ways to go I only had more time. ;)

I think you have to leave the header in place above the door way, So an arch will have to be taking away from the door opening. If everyone in the household is short, no problem

I was thinking about a wooden archway to connect the two cases, but leaving the door as is… any other ideas?
