Part 1: Shaped the posts for the headboard today
Yesterday I cut and inlaid the headboard.. a straightforward process that went fairly quick.Today my goal was to finish the sculpted posts for the headboard. I used laminated oak pieces that i glued up yeaterday afternoon. I need to find a good local source for some 12/4 oak to avoid having to laminate several pieces.I got out my trusty grinder and and went nuts for several hours…and then sanded for the rest of the afternoon and rough fit it together.
