To All US citizens....GO VOTE!

As a Veteran, I would encourage every citizen to go vote. My Brothers-in-Arms have shed their blood to give and maintain this right; you owe it to them to participate in the system for which they gave their lives.

IF you don't vote, don't complain.

This messages in no way endorses any particular candidate or party

I woke up at 5:30 this morning, laid in bed for an hour, and boy was that a mistake! By the time I got in the room, I'd waited 1 hour and 45 minutes. Not complaining at all. I was # 181 @ 7:55 and that's more than we usually get in a whole day. It truly was an amazing sight to see, SO MANY people out exercising their right. Be informed when you go!

I actually had a mini-nightmare about voting last night. This seems to have been the longest pre-election season in memory, and it's so important. I'll be bugging out (the fact that it's a balmy day in November in Nebraska has a bit to do with this also) to vote as soon as I can get my work done today.

What a wonderful right we have. Just returned from Voting. I totally agree with Greg. I will be 64 in January and have voted in every election, that includes local, state and federal, since I became eligible to do so. I love and honor the privliege!

Hi Greg. You're right buddy. We should all vote no matter who you like. I did vote with the early voting we had here in Nevada. I don't think I could stand on those very long lines that I have seen on the news. I believe we need to assess our ideas on how we vote. Perhaps with poper verification we could do it on line or even with a mail in like we were allowed to do here. Take care Buddy.

Whew. It's in the Ballot Box. I didn't take the time this morning to express my gratitude for your service this morning, Greg, so I thought I'd stop back by to say thanks - to you and all who have served the country in the armed forces.

I have never taken this glorious right and responsibility lightly. And as a Topekan by birth (as in Brown vs. The Board of Education) I'm proud that our nation has progressed sufficiently that a person of quality can run for President regardless of the color of his skin. Both our candidates are outstanding. I will be satisfied with the outcome of the election come what may, but this truly is a historic day in the USA.

Now back to butchering wood.

What ever the outcome of today's results, I'm glad to see there is so much interest in our election. In years past there seemed to be a blase' attitude towards the candidates. This election has surely stirred up some interest! We are very priviledged to have the freedom of choice. Make it work! Participate! Vote!
