Now that I’ve finished a few other projects and the doctor has cleared me to start working again, I am back on my serving tray project. I finished sanding two marquetry pieces I made a few months ago and put a seal coat of shellac on the pieces. The next step is working on the side pieces.
Today I did some trimming of the side pieces on the table saw and tomorrow I need to set the router table to refine the rabbets for the bottom pieces.
Here is a picture of one of the bottom pieces. Next blog entry will have a picture of the sides.
